I enjoy listening to podcasts. They are entertaining, educational, and thought provoking. One podcast in particular that has been a constant source of reflection and inspiration is The Moth podcast. If you haven’t heard of it, you should check it out. Each segment features storytelling. True stories from the people across the world. I was excited when I found out they compiled some of these stories into a book. While you lose some of the wonder through the spoken word, the stories are just as emotional and heart wrenching.
All These Wonders, is a compilation of stories from ‘The Moth’ podcast. At the end of each story the reader is told where the story was performed and what the theme of the night was. I loved being able to read through these. Thee stories will make you laugh, cry, and think deeply on how we understand our experiences on this earth. They are beautiful stories which show a vulnerability of the participant that bring us closer in our humanity. They will cause you to think about the world around us and challenge our perceptions. These stories will help the reader to see a new way of reflecting and living life that was previously unknown.
This is a book I would definitely recommend to people.
