Passion and Boredom

“I would rather die of passion than of boredom.” —Vincent van Gogh

How does this quote affect you? Does it cause you to question the times of boredom and streaks of passion in your life? Does it make you want to find a passion or pursue one more fully?

I am inspired by this quote of Van Gogh’s. It is suggesting that there are many who don’t follow their passions, that maybe there are people who don’t know what their passions are, and sadly never find them. Thus they die of boredom. Which is also sad. Dying of boredom might mean that one has not pursued adventure. If one dies of boredom I wonder if they have ever really lived.

Don’t forget to live. Don’t forget to pursue your passions.

Happy Monday.
